With the current weather what better recipe than an iced coffee cocktail, from our member the Cocktailmaker.
The nuts in this case are almonds; the almond flavour itself is contained in the syrup that goes by the name orgeat.
25ml whole milk
25ml double cream
35ml strong cold espresso coffee
10ml caramel syrup
Grated chocolate to garnish
Add a Twist: whisky or rum would add extra depth of flavour.
Fill a martini glass with ice to chill it. Add all ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake well. Remove ice from the martini glass; it should be nicely frosted. Fine strain all ingredients into martini glass.
